Getting started
How to access your map.
You will receive a Google Earth invitation by email. Follow these steps to explore 140,000 abandoned locations.
Step by step
1
Check your inbox
After your purchase, you receive an invitation email from Google Earth. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within 5 minutes.
2
Accept the invitation
Click the link in the email to accept your Google Earth access. This grants you permanent access to the map.
💡 Make sure you're signed in with the Google account linked to your email address.
3
Open Google Earth
Download and open the Google Earth app on your phone or computer. The map will appear automatically in your projects.
4
Select your region
Locations are organized by continent and country — Europe, America, Africa, Asia and more. Tap the folder of the region you want to explore.
⚠️ Before heading out, we recommend checking recent activity on the location if possible. Abandoned places evolve quickly — some may have been renovated, demolished, or secured since they were added to the map.
5
Enable the display
On the right side of each folder, tap the eye icon to show the pins on the map. The abandoned locations appear instantly — tap any pin for details and GPS navigation.
