Terms and Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website urbexnetwork.com and the purchase of digital products sold by UrbexNetwork. By accessing our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
1. Company Information
UrbexNetwork
Rue Roger Laus, 1421 Ophain, Belgium
Email: urbexnetworkcontact@gmail.com
2. Products
UrbexNetwork sells exclusively digital products — specifically, access to a private GPS coordinate map hosted on Google Earth, containing geolocated points of interest categorised as abandoned or disused locations worldwide ("the Map").
The Map is delivered digitally via a Google Earth invitation sent to the email address provided at checkout. No physical product is shipped.
3. Ordering and Payment
By placing an order on urbexnetwork.com, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- The information provided (including your email address) is accurate and complete
- You are authorised to use the payment method provided
All prices are displayed in euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required. Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. UrbexNetwork does not store any payment card data.
4. Digital Product Delivery
Access to the Map is delivered via a Google Earth invitation sent to your email address within a short delay after payment confirmation. You are responsible for ensuring your email address is correct and that your inbox can receive messages from us.
UrbexNetwork cannot be held responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect email addresses, full inboxes, spam filters, or issues with the recipient's email provider or Google account.
5. Licence and Intellectual Property
Upon purchase, UrbexNetwork grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Map for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You are strictly prohibited from:
- Sharing, reselling, redistributing, or publishing the Map or its contents (in whole or in part) to any third party
- Sharing your access link or Google Earth invitation with any other person
- Reproducing or extracting GPS coordinates for commercial use
- Using the Map to create a competing product or service
All content, GPS data, and intellectual property contained in the Map remain the exclusive property of UrbexNetwork. Violation of this licence may result in immediate termination of access without refund and may result in legal action.
6. Nature of the Data — Important Disclaimer
The Map contains GPS coordinates and location information for sites that may be classified as abandoned, derelict, or disused. This data is provided strictly for informational and personal entertainment purposes only.
UrbexNetwork makes no representation or warranty regarding:
- The current legal status or accessibility of any location listed
- The safety, condition, or structural integrity of any location
- The accuracy or completeness of the GPS coordinates provided
- Whether any location may have been renovated, demolished, secured, or otherwise changed since its inclusion in the Map
We strongly recommend verifying the current status of any location before visiting. Abandoned places evolve rapidly — some may have been renovated, demolished, fenced off, or made inaccessible since being added to the Map.
7. User Responsibility and Legal Compliance
By purchasing and using the Map, you acknowledge and expressly agree that:
- You are solely responsible for your own actions and decisions based on the information provided
- The legality of visiting any location varies by country, region, and individual circumstance — it is your sole responsibility to verify and comply with all applicable local laws and regulations before visiting any location
- Entering private or restricted property without authorisation may constitute trespassing or other criminal offences under the laws of your jurisdiction
- UrbexNetwork does not encourage, condone, or promote illegal activity of any kind
- You assume full and exclusive responsibility for any risk, harm, injury, legal consequence, or damage — to yourself, third parties, or property — arising from your use of the Map or your visit to any location listed therein
UrbexNetwork expressly disclaims all liability for any loss, injury, damage, fine, prosecution, or legal consequence of any nature arising directly or indirectly from the use of the Map or the information contained therein. This disclaimer applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian and European law, UrbexNetwork's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your use of the Map shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the digital product.
UrbexNetwork shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, personal injury, or property damage.
9. Waiver and Acknowledgement at Purchase
By completing a purchase on urbexnetwork.com, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:
- You have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full
- You understand that the Map contains GPS location data provided for informational purposes only
- You assume full personal responsibility for any use you make of this information
- You waive any claim against UrbexNetwork arising from your use of the Map or your visit to any listed location
- You consent to the immediate delivery of the digital product and waive your right of withdrawal in accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law
10. Right of Withdrawal — Digital Products
In accordance with Article VI.53, 13° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law (and the corresponding EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital product and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon delivery. No refunds will be issued once access has been delivered.
11. Refund Policy
Please refer to our separate Refund Policy for full details.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Belgium, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you may also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.
